Semi-Frameless & Framed Shower doors

	Whats the difference from semi frameless to framed?
	The glass used in a framed enclosure is 3/16"- configured as either a slider, or as a door.   framed doors may be constructed of anodized aluminum (lucette models) or as solid brass (brassline models).   The framed enclosure features metal framing around all glass perimeters as well as metal header (top), jambs (at sides) and sill (bottom). The glass used in a semi-frameless enclosure may either be 1/4" or 3/8"- configured as either a slider, or as a door. Metal frame may either be anodized aluminum constructed (centec models) or solid brass- (glasstec models) the door(s) in a semi frameless enclosure does not use a metal frame around the perimeter- however, fixed panels will use metal framing.    All semi frameless enclosures make use of a metal header (top),  jambs (at sides) and sill (bottom).

Unlike enclosures purchased at a home center, century's enclosures carry a one year manufacturers warantee- as does your installation from ATM Mirror. In addition, if you should ever need a replacement part or service of any kind we at ATM are happy to help and generally replacement parts are available in a day or two- no having to call the manufacturer direct to try to describe a part and "hope for the best". Metal components of the Century Bathworks enclosure also far surpass the home center doors, which are often flimsy.
